Create and update participants

Participants are project members who will contribute to the project and provide / consume resources, services and material; these could be organisations, departments, teams, individuals or partners, contractors and other entities of various organisations in your consortium.

Create Participants 

To create a participant one must:

Click Participants in Home menu, this will open the Participants section. Then click +Add Participant.

A sidebar will appear. Type in Name, Short and select Participant type. The participant ID is given automatically. 

  • Logo - To add a logo / image for the participant, click the photo icon or drop an image file there
  • Name - name of the organisation
  • ID -  is assigned automatically, however you can customize the ID conventions here
  • Short - a short name to quickly recognise the organisation 
  • Parent Participant (optional) - choose a parent participant, if this participant falls under or is associated with another participant (available after you've created further participants)
  • Position (optional) - set the position of the participant in the list (available after you've created further participants)
  • Participant Type - specify the participant type 
  • Note: Participant types are provided by the project template selected during the project creation, however, you can add other types (Click + Add Participant Type) or manage Participant Types in the Customisation section under Settings. This is only available for users with Admin or Manager rights.

You can additionally input further optional details.

Once you have completed filling out your participant, click  Save Participant.

Update Participants

To update a participant, click on the participant that you would like to edit and the sidebar will appear.

Once you have completed your editing, click  Save Participant.  

Move Participant

Click Participants in Home menu, this will open the  'Participants' section. Then click on the participant that you would like to move. The sidebar will pull up.

To move the  Participants to another position choose the new position in the field Position

To move the  Participants under another Participant choose a parent in the field Parent Participant

Once you have completed your editing, click  Save Participant.
