Raising your hand during a video call / meeting

The Raise Hand feature allows participants and moderators to raise their hand to indicate that they need something from the moderators. As the moderator, it can be helpful to let your participants know how you plan to use this feature at the beginning. For example, many moderators use this feature to know if an attendee has a question and doesn't want to be muted to speak.

To raise / lower hand during a video call, click the "Hand" icon in the meeting controls at the bottom panel:

When an attendee raises hand, a blue hand appears at the person's profile picture to notify the moderator that you've raised your hand.

Click "Raise Hand" again in the webinar controls to lower it, if needed.

Tip: While muted, press and hold the space bar to temporarily activate your microphone to speak, or unmute yourself.
