Raising your hand during a video call / meeting

Raise Hand lets attendees and moderators signal that they need something from the moderator — for example, that they have a question and don't want to unmute to ask it. As moderator, it helps to tell attendees upfront how you want them to use it.

To raise or lower your hand, click the Hand icon in the meeting controls at the bottom.

When an attendee raises their hand, a blue hand appears on their profile picture so the moderator notices.

Click the Hand icon again to lower it.
