Joining a video call / meeting

Note: To be invited and join a video or conference call, you need to be a member of the workspace.

If you have been invited to an online meeting you will receive an in-app and email notification.

Follow the instructions below on how to join a video or conference call:

If you are logged into EMDESK, a notification to join the meeting appears at the top of your workspace. A notification is also shown in the notification center and under the notification bell. Click Join to enter the meeting.

If you are not logged into EMDESK, open the meeting invite email and click Join the meeting.

Once you click to join, a new browser tab will open with the meeting room.

Note: Your browser may ask for permission to use your camera and microphone - make sure you permit your browser to use them both.

In case the waiting room or password is enabled for the meeting room, click  Ask to join or enter the password and click Join.

Note: You may need to contact the moderator for the password.

To leave the meeting, click Leave Meeting button at the top right corner.



Re-Joining a video call / meeting

If you have left a video call by mistake you can easily rejoin the meeting.

Follow the instructions below on how to rejoin a video or conference call:

If you are logged into EMDESK, click the notifications panel, find the notification with the invitation to the meeting you'd like to rejoin and then click Join

If you are not logged into EMDESK, open the email with the invitation link to the meeting you'd like to join and click Join the meeting.
